After School and Community Classes
aim cincinnati has several dance courses available. We have been working with 21st Century Community Learning Centers since 2004. 20 students max per one-hour session. $75 per contact hour. We will do back to back sessions. aim cincinnati requires open space (gymnasiums preferred) and access to an electrical outlet. Courses below require a minimum of five sessions but can certainly be booked for more than five sessions.
African Dance (Grades K-12)- Students will learn the dances from Nigerian and various other West African cultures to traditional drum music.
Beginning Ballet (Grades K-12)- This class is geared towards students who have had little or no experience in ballet. Students will learn and advance in the basic techniques of ballet and the terminology so that they may move on to take more advanced ballet classes if they choose.
Dance Fusion Club (Grades K-12)- Fun combination of hip-hop, ballet, line dance, and jazz. This class will teach basic techniques, but focus more on a fun overview of dance than on advancing in technical skill.
Hip-Hop Dance (Grades K-12)-This class is geared towards students who have had little or no experience in hip-hop. Students will learn hip-hop technique and hip-hop routines.
Line Dancing (Grades K-12 and Adults)
Learn the dance moves of all the most popular and new original line dances.
Mad Hot Ballroom Recreational Dance (Grades 3-12)-This class will introduce students to several favorite ballroom and Latin dances.

We have the most diverse audience of any Cincinnati area presenter, and we are the only company that presents guest companies, an international Gala, and preprofessional dancers as part of our season series.Dance 2 Community Kids community outreach program introduces youth from underserved communities to dance and the Aronoff Center expanding the audience for the arts and downtown Cincinnati venues. Over 1500 children have attended ballets in this outreach. The Leaping for Literacy Project presents an annual spring production based on beloved children’s stories, Touring Company performances in area schools, free outreach performances in area libraries and bookstores, a poster and poetry contest, and a book giveaway to promote family literacy.
